PROJECT MANAGER

ROGER B. KENNEDY CONSTRUCTION (RBK) is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER in Orlando, FL. RBK is a regional General Contractor licensed in 5 states, with most work located in Florida.

Position Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the schedule, budget, quality and safety of the Project in partnership with the Superintendent. He/She will report to the Senior Project Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and administer RBK’s contract and subcontract agreements
• Coordinate planning and management to ensure all project activities are executed in accordance with the established contract requirements, budgets and schedules to achieve project completion on time and within budget
• May work with the preconstruction team in development of project
• Review and evaluate project documentation relating to planning, site investigation, design, construction and contract administration
• Maintain job cost reports, budget and schedule controls
• Attend all project-related meetings and report any issues to the Senior Project Manager/Vice President in a timely manner. Ensure that meeting agendas and meeting minutes are produced and distributed to attendees
• Enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff
• Work with Accounting to initiate the pay application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner
• Negotiation, award and drafting of subcontract agreements
• Manage and approve submittals, RFI’s, PCO’s, material procurement
• Coordinate delivery of material and supplies to the jobsite

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five (5) years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.

Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite. Ability to read, understand and interpret contact documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

LEAD MULTI-FAMILY SUPERINTENDENT

ROGER B. KENNEDY CONSTRUCTION (RBK) is seeking a lead MULTI-FAMILY SUPERINTENDENT in Orlando, FL. RBK is a regional General Contractor licensed in 5 states, with most work located in Florida.

As a multi-family superintendent, you will be reviewing all drawings, specifications and subcontractor submittals. The Superintendent assures work quality and sets standards for quality control. You will assist the Project Manager from the project start-up including utilities and temporary job trailers all the way thru project punch-out. You will enforce safety procedures with everyone on the jobsite, as well as conduct weekly subcontractor meetings. You will be responsible for daily and/or weekly progress reports using a laptop and MS Office and MS Project.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma. College preferred, but not required.
• OSHA 30.
• 10+ years’ experience in wood frame multi-family projects.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Good computer skills. Knowledge of Outlook, MS Office and MS Project.
• Experience with delivery methods – General Contracting, CMar and Design/Build.
